81 \u00e9ves kor\u00e1ban elhunyt K\u0151szegi Imre<\/strong> dobos, zeneszerz\u0151, a magyar dzsessz egyik kiemelked\u0151 alakja \u2013 \u00edrta a jazz.hu szakmai port\u00e1l. A Liszt Ferenc-d\u00edjas zen\u00e9sz cs\u00fct\u00f6rt\u00f6k\u00f6n halt meg.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

K\u0151szegi Imre 1944. december 6-\u00e1n sz\u00fcletett Budapesten. Zenei tanulm\u00e1nyait zongoristak\u00e9nt kezdte, majd kilenc\u00e9ves kor\u00e1t\u00f3l a dob lett f\u0151 hangszere. A Bart\u00f3k B\u00e9la Zenem\u0171v\u00e9szeti Szakk\u00f6z\u00e9piskola dobszak\u00e1n v\u00e9gzett 1963-ban, ezt k\u00f6vet\u0151en pedig Nyugat-Eur\u00f3p\u00e1ban folytatta p\u00e1ly\u00e1j\u00e1t, ahol sz\u00e1mos neves dzsesszmuzsikussal l\u00e9pett fel. Fiatalon Pege Alad\u00e1r egy\u00fcttes\u00e9ben j\u00e1tszott, ami meghat\u00e1roz\u00f3 \u00e1llom\u00e1sa volt szakmai fejl\u0151d\u00e9s\u00e9nek.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

1975-ben alap\u00edtotta meg els\u0151 saj\u00e1t form\u00e1ci\u00f3j\u00e1t, a K\u0151szegi Rhythm and Brass egy\u00fcttest, majd 1980-ban nemzetk\u00f6zi zenekart hozott l\u00e9tre, amellyel sikeres eur\u00f3pai turn\u00e9kat adott. J\u00e1t\u00e9k\u00e1t els\u0151sorban a bebop \u00e9s a swing hat\u00e1rozta meg, ugyanakkor nyitotts\u00e1ga miatt szinte minden dzsesszir\u00e1nyzatban otthonosan mozgott. T\u00f6bb r\u00e1di\u00f3s, telev\u00edzi\u00f3s \u00e9s sz\u00ednh\u00e1zi zen\u00e9t is szerzett.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

P\u00e1lyafut\u00e1sa sor\u00e1n t\u00f6bb mint sz\u00e1z\u00f6tven lemezfelv\u00e9telen m\u0171k\u00f6d\u00f6tt k\u00f6zre. Szinte valamennyi jelent\u0151s magyar dzsesszzen\u00e9sszel egy\u00fctt j\u00e1tszott, emellett vil\u00e1gszt\u00e1rokkal is rendszeresen dolgozott. Zen\u00e9szt\u00e1rsai k\u00f6z\u00f6tt volt Szakcsi Lakatos B\u00e9la, Vuk\u00e1n Gy\u00f6rgy, Babos Gyula, Tomsits Rudolf, Berki Tam\u00e1s, valamint sz\u00e1mos nemzetk\u00f6zi el\u0151ad\u00f3, k\u00f6zt\u00fck Art Farmer, Chico Freeman, Trilok Gurtu, Kenny Wheeler \u00e9s Frank Zappa.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

1992-t\u0151l tan\u00e1rk\u00e9nt is meghat\u00e1roz\u00f3 szerepet v\u00e1llalt a magyar dzsessz\u00e9letben. A Liszt Ferenc Zenem\u0171v\u00e9szeti Egyetem dzsessz tanszak\u00e1n tansz\u00e9kvezet\u0151k\u00e9nt dolgozott, 2002 \u00e9s 2008 k\u00f6z\u00f6tt pedig a Magyar Jazz Sz\u00f6vets\u00e9g eln\u00f6ke volt.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Munk\u00e1ss\u00e1g\u00e1t sz\u00e1mos elismer\u00e9ssel jutalmazt\u00e1k, k\u00f6zt\u00fck a Szab\u00f3 G\u00e1bor-\u00e9letm\u0171d\u00edjjal, a Magyar Jazz D\u00edj\u00e1val \u00e9s a Liszt Ferenc-d\u00edjjal.
